For this watch, which carries reference GMWB5000PB-6, G-Shock has employed a two-tone IP finish in purple and blue-gray tone. Refreshingly, purple is the most prominent color here, making up the case and chunky endlinks. The bracelet alternates between blue and purple links, putting a unique G-Shock spin on traditional two-tone finishes found in high-end luxury watches. I’ve personally never seen Tokyo during the twilight hour, but the balance of purple and blue here is certainly evocative.
